Wireless charging: alignment and case comparison
Compare a known Qi setup with alignment, covering and wired-power conditions.
Planning estimate for recording observations; excludes charging, backups, drying and service. Not a measured repair time.

Observe without moving or using the phone. If a notification shifts its position, record that occurrence instead of repeatedly sliding it around.

If an intact Lightning setup is available and the connector is dry, compare wired charging separately. If warmth pauses charging, let the phone cool before another observation.

Check the result
- Save the alignment and covering that allowed charging. Observe recurrence during ordinary use before calling the issue resolved.
- Discuss the wireless-only or both-path result with Apple and the charger maker. Bring the charger compatibility information.
Stop conditions
- Stop using and charging equipment with swelling, casing separation, smoke, a burning smell or suspected battery damage. Do not open or press on it.
- Set damaged accessories aside. Do not open mains adapters or force connectors.
- Do not erase, reset, flash firmware or bypass a lock as a default diagnostic step.
