Confirm the exact model

Select a model confirmation to begin the checks. The full preparation guide is below.

Preparation guide

  1. Confirm Intel T14 Gen 2. Its connector layout differs from AMD; use the correct manual’s Intel side view.

  2. Connect one powered monitor directly by a compatible HDMI or USB-C video path. Confirm the monitor’s selected input; remove a dock from the comparison.

  4. Compare duplicate/extend settings and note whether the direct monitor works before reconnecting a dock. Do not assume all cable types or docks support the same resolution.

Check the result

  • Save the direct connection and display mode that worked. Check dock-specific support separately.
  • If a known compatible direct monitor remains absent, contact Lenovo and the monitor vendor. No port replacement is justified by this task alone.

Stop conditions

  • Stop using and charging a swollen or damaged battery. Do not open, compress, puncture, or attempt battery removal. Contact the manufacturer or a qualified service provider.
  • Disconnect a damaged accessory if it is safe to do so. Do not open a mains power adapter.
  • Save accessible data before restarting. Do not reset, erase, flash firmware, bypass a lock, or open the enclosure in this task.
