Preparation guide
Before the appointment: Do not reconnect a wet connector or a damaged accessory. Save the visible alert state. Use the charging comparison only after safe and dry conditions are confirmed. Verify a backup if the phone is accessible; otherwise mark the files still inaccessible.

At the handoff: Export the three task records, including comparisons not performed. Keep a suspect cable separate and ask whether the provider wants it brought in. Explain whether the warning is accessory-specific; avoid naming a failed internal part.

When the phone returns: Review the repair summary before accepting any erase or restore instructions. Compare the agreed dry charging setup and record the actual response. Confirm access to backed-up information before discarding any earlier backup.
